The GA chair was designed by Hans Bellmann  in 1955 and made by Horgen Glarus (Switzerland).  It is a double molded teak plywood shell and a black tubular steel base. These exemplars are in very good original condition with minor wear but one of the the chair has a chip on the backrest (see picture).
